The Consortium

Starting from the top, Holte Byggsafe AS is the instigator of the CILECCTA project and the Project Coordinator. Nor-Tek Teknolgisenter AS provide expertise in managing EC-funded projects and their intimate knowledge of construction engineering and software development will enable them to co-manage the project with the support of the software from Designtech.

Cambridge Architectural Research LTD, Luleå University of Technology and Designtech along with the Stuttgart cluster of PE INTERNATIONAL, University of Stuttgart and Fraunhofer-IBP provide all the leading edge academic expertise in LCC, LCA and secure data base access and maintenance necessary to execute the R&D work packages (WP1-3).

ACCIONA, TUI and WNDC provide the large-scale projects on which the CILECCTA software will be tested in WPs 4, 5 & 6.

The remaining enterprises form the group of end-users and multipliers that will join in the specification of the software in WPs 1 and 2 for its implementation in WP3. They will enable the training and education in WP7 and the dissemination and exploitation of the project results in WPs 8 and 9.

The partners all bring individual expertise to the project and each is necessary to its execution. In sum we come together to form a consortium of complementary enterprises that has a broad reach across all aspects of the construction industry from architects (APIA XXI, CARLTD) through Large Enterprises in the infrastructure (ACCIONA), hotels and resorts (TUI), and public regeneration (WNDC) industry sectors and RTDs and AGs representing their members in the industry (Fraunhofer-IBP, Nor-Tek, SINTEF, EurExcel, Norsk Teknologi) right the way to service providers (Holte Byggsafe, BSRIA, PE INTERNATIONAL, Sanfix, TechnoBee, ASM, Designtech). In addition, University of Stuttgart and Luleå University of Technology provide us with a direct route into higher education in the building sector.
